Portfolio Example & Artist Statement

Cottonwood roots the main base of the carving. I use natural pigments/clay from southwest. That i have collected and ground up for paint. I use variest different type of legal feathers on my dolls. Leather and raw hid that use from my winter hunts. That i natural tan my hide and use dye for some leather. Natural spun wool and dyed as well. Any other resource from nature i use. From the moss, grass, yucca and cotton seeds from cottonwood trees. I try and use every bit from nature. I also use sterling silver in my work. I make bracelets, conchos, and tufa cast my bowguards with silver. Adding a new touch to my kastina dolls.
