Leanne Lee

The inspiration of my art comes from mandala drawings. Though it is not traditional to the Zuni or Navajo people, I have found ways to incorporate traditional designs and symbols to my mandala designs to reflect my personal story as well as the rich cultures that make me who I am today. I am a self taught artist and enjoy trying different substrates and mediums. Through the few years as an artist I have painted on watercolor paper, canvases, and skateboards. I have also utilized modern technology to create digital art. I have always been fond of photography. With my photography, I like to give my audience a glimpse of the beautiful landscapes of the southwest, as well as a candid look into my life living on the Zuni reservation in these modern times.
