The materials I use in my artwork are Porcupine Quills, smoked Deer/Moose hide, Felt, Thread/Sinew, etc. The techniques i often use for quilling is the sew down technique which is flattening the quill first, laying it down underneath the thread and starting to weave the thread back and forth, or doing the under and over style. Continuing to add quills until I get to my desired shape or until the work is filled.
