Three Desert plant materials are individually hand picked and processed to create the Hopi Third Mesa style of basketry. The frame is of the Dunebroom plant, the weaving sticks are from the Rabbit Brush plant and the outer rim is wrapped with the Narrow Leaf yucca plant. The weave is a plaited weave. The dyes used are commercial dyes.
