Materials: Fused art glass that incorporates a combination of different types of glass such as transparent, opalescent, iridescent and dichroic glass.Technique: Each piece of glass art is hand cut and assembled to form a specific design. The completed piece is placed in a kiln and fired to approximately 1480 degrees to fuse the pieces together. Once the first firing is complete, it is placed on a clay mold and fired in a kiln a second time at a lower temperature to provide shape to the piece.
