I am a fourth generation potter. I learned from my mom and grandparents . All my materials are collected and prepared by hand from my home, my reservation. My work is all done with prayers, visuals of ceremonies and my home surroundings. I have submitted my work to various art shows and have won many awards and ribbons. I will share my techniques with the younger generation to help keep our traditional pottery making techniques strong and alive. From the start, as I mix my clay, I have already visualized what is going to become of my piece. The designs, color, etching, drawing and the finished product is unique and comes together as one.
