I am a 4th generational Cherokee basketmaker. I hand process all weaving materials including buck brush, honeysuckle, white oak, hickory, and black ash. I also use natural dyes except for commercial dyes on the black ash. I weave traditional southeastern patterns and I also create contemporary designs. Recently, I have started creating wearable woven jewelry of bracelets, cuffs and bolos.
