For my weavings, I use Navajo Churro wool, natural or dyed. My pieces are woven on an upright Navajo loom, using the same techniques and tools that our Diné ancestors have continually used for generations. All of my work incorporates traditional Navajo weaving techniques: the tapestry weave, the weft-face weave, and the twill weave in either two-ply or three-ply construction. I design all of my work based on traditional Navajo textile patterns.
