Portfolio Example & Artist Statement

As an artist who got his start in SWAIA as a youth, I am very excited to say that this would be my 20th year at Indian Market if I am accepted, and that is quite special. With that said.My process as a more contemporary artist tends to be having an idea or thought and from there figuring out if it is possible. I am inspired by architecture and geometry so my pieces tend to reflect that attention to detail and patters. I work with mainly sterling silver, gold, copper, and now precious gemstones. All my pieces start as sheet, solid heavy gauge square wire, or scrap that I will roll or cast myself. I hand mark, cut, file, stamp, engrave, and finish everything from start to finish all myself. I look forward to hopefully showing what new and exciting designs I have been working on at IAIA! Thank you.
