I watched my grandmother as she created her own embroidered designs on kilts. I also took classes to enhance my styles and techniques. While I create my art, I pray for strength and longevity to those who will wear my creations on their native attire for dances and traditional ceremonies. Seeing my work on various generations pushes me to continue.
