Description of Material and TechniqueAs a master metalsmith I am proficient in the use of noble metals including but not limited to nonferrous metals such as gold, silver, and copper. I also have utilized ferrous metals such as carbon steel and stainless steel in my work. In addition, I am also a lapidary, cutting my own stones. I incorporate precious and non-precious stones in my work. I have extensive experience and proficiency in the following blacksmithing techniques, tufa casting, lost wax casting, sand casting, ingot casting, fabrication, soldering, welding, brazing, hollow forming, repouss� and chasing, forming, and shaping, reticulation, marriage of metals, mokume gane, plating, anodizing, overlay, engraving, polishing and finishing, patinas, and forging to name a few. I am also a lapidary and stone setter. I have experience with 3D printing and scanning.
