Sage Mountainflower creates contemporary clothing inspired by traditional Native designs. She uses natural elements and colors from her Ohkay Owingeh, Taos Pueblo, and Navajo heritage. She uses a variety of materials such as wool, cotton and satin to create her designs. She often incorporates traditional beadwork, Pueblo embroidery or applique techniques into creating modern clothing designs.
