Sage Mountainflower

Sage Mountainflower creates contemporary clothing inspired by traditional Native designs. She uses natural elements and colors from her Ohkay Owingeh, Taos Pueblo, and Navajo heritage. She uses a variety of materials such as wool, cotton and satin to create her designs. She often incorporates traditional beadwork, Pueblo embroidery or applique techniques into creating modern clothing designs. These embellishments add a touch of her culture, along with elegance to her creations. She draws from traditional designs for inspiration and applies them to her wearable creations meant to go well past traditional boundaries, which features bold colors, patterns, and designs
