The bracelet is loom beadwork with size 13 cutglass. It is cushioned & secured onto a sized/formed copper cuff and sewn with a backing of brain tanned smoked antelope hide. The design is centered on inner-fire concept which is surrounded by the blue water and feathers depicting the importance of culture and spirituality to honor the elements. The hatband is loom beadwork with size 13 cutglass & seed beads. The piece is reinforced/cut from the loom and sewn onto two commercial leather strip ties. Design represents stories told by elders, depicts honoring the four elements of life. Earth is red, square is fire, blue water, and air represented by pray feathers. The Dine wedding basket motif is applique stitching on leather. The finished medallions are sewn onto a brain tanned antelope hide with beaded edge seams, hypoallergenic earring hooks attached. My beadwork is simple & sophisticated. They are well made & affordable to enjoy. Sharing of culture through simple accessories is vital.
