I do a lot of hiking in the back country and run across these unique rock formations and create cliff dwellings. I also paint and chisel petroglyphs/pictographs on the rocks. I then build the ruins with red sandstone and place them with tweezers and they are held together with red clay that I use as my mortar. This is a tedious process. the process is similar to stone masonry.
