I am a glass artist who uses three different processes, materials & tools. Glassblowing, stained glass & glass fusing are my techniques. I have been working with glass for more than 30 yrs. I am fortunate enough to have won blue ribbons in past shows & having my art showcased at the MIACS traveling glass art exhibit, Clearly Indigenous & Native Visions Reimagined in Glass. The techniques and tools that I use are both historical & traditional in the glass arts, dating back for centuries. I have utilized these to grow a new & culturally relevant expression to visually share ideas & interpret Hopi images, concepts & values. I am the first documented Hopi to work with hot glass (glassblowing). I have also appreciated youth in all three forms of glass art. I hope to increase the number of younger glass artists in the years to come.
