Youth artist is now working in traditional skin preparation of Alaska harvested animals such as sealskin, bear hide and salmon. Artist is learning the techniques of tanning skins of animals with the fur on and off as well as preparing bones, feathers, teeth and claws to be used in ceremonial pieces, traditional regalia, as well as artwork for sale. Single and 2 needle beadwork styles for traditional designs and edging are being used.
