I work mainly in oil on linen or canvas. I paint landscapes on site in and around the Navajo reservation. I work mostly from live subject matter with minimal use of photographic aids. I also do drawings with charcoal and pen and ink. My subject matter ranges from figure to landscape. My goal is to capture the modern landscape of the reservation painted through an indigenous perspective with a nod to art history.
