Two painting styles are incorporated into my body of work. The first painting process has a textured sand surface applied to the base layer of the stretched canvas painting, with supplemental painted attributes of adding acrylic pigments to the top surface of the painting. The second painting process incorporates dry pigments that are combined with water and an adhesive agent to form a desired painting texture which is applied to the stretched canvas painting for bonding when completely dry. Painted motifs/designs are derived from cultural influences and my humble upbringing. Painted creations encompasses my perception of personal expression through life experiences and goals.
