Introduced to stone sculpture in 2011. Mentored by many of the great indigenous stone sculptors who have been great friends. Quote that I learned - " You're an indigenous stone sculptor. Mother Earth has saved a piece of her heart for millennia and has presented it to you. Now it is your responsibility to breathe life back into it. "Alabaster, limestone, marble, various other stones - it has been my please to learn the personalities of each stone and I have listened to those stones to guide me with the images that I have carved. Tools that I have learned to use range from nomadic to electrical to good old-fashioned hammer and chisel to create my images.
