I use a traditional and contemporary clay blend. My techniques are hand built using coiled, slab and pinch methods. After each piece is created, it is naturally air-dried, sanded and water washed for a clean finish. The piece will be kiln fired. Once fired, I hand paint the pottery using both natural yucca brushes and paintbrushes. I use an acrylic blend of paints, mixing my own colors. After the painting is complete, I antique each piece with natural pigments and stains.
