traditional carving methods are used to create my sculpture. Cut off saws, pneumatic air tools. hammers, grinders and sanders are used. I cut the stones with diamond blades and then I carve with air hammers and chisels. I then use right angle grinders and die grinder's to finish out the carvings. In the finishing stages i use sanding techniques. rough sandpaper and then wet sanding then in the end i use jewelry polishing techniques. I also use feathers and various semi-precious stones to adorn sculptures as well. when I use feathers, I use plains Indian feather techniques to decorate my feathers. wrapped in buckskin and then in silk thread. different riffler files and hand chisels help to create different textures as well.
