My jewelry consists of handmade heishi beads. All of my beads are made from turquoise, seashell or other natural stones. The stones are cut utilizing a lapidary saw and blade. The stones are chipped by hand with a wire nipper. Each piece is drilled by hand with a dremel drill. The drilled pieces are strung on steel wire by size. The strung pieces are shaped on a lapidary grinding wheel. The shaped beads on wire are hand polished with various grits of sanding belts. The semi-polished wire strung beads are put through a 3 step buffing polish.The polished beads are strung (beading wire, or string) and finished with sterling silver findings.
