The beadwork technique took me years to find my style and get it the way it expressed me best. Having a connection with my culture, I get inspiration from those before me who created and kept designs alive throughout history. I look at old-style beadwork and quillwork. I express my vision, original ideas, and emotions through my artwork. I make my artwork to share my creative look and new style/ design of beadwork. I use neutral to bright colors to express my personality. The most common working materials are velvet, satin, cotton fabric, and colorful bead sizes 10 or 11. This contributes to both the style of the art and its meaning.
