Portfolio Example & Artist Statement

The materials I use to create my artwork include 18-gauge sheet silver, 14 karat gold wire used for the sun and moon accents, and I do utilize 2 odd saw blades for cutting out all the little details, designs, and scenery items on my jewelry pieces. All of my pieces are created by hand, cutting, hand-cutting, soldering, sanding, buffing, and polishing for the final finish of the product. All of my pieces are created and made by myself from start to finish, it is very time consuming when it comes to putting in a lot of details to rings, earrings, bolo's, necklaces, bracelets, buckles, and jewelry boxes. My style includes one-sided, double-sided, pueblo themes, shooting stars, baskets of corn, rainclouds, etc., making my jewelry unique. I self-taught myself into learning and creating beautiful jewelry within the last 45 plus years. All of my artwork consumes a lot of time when putting in superb details, especially when I hand cut the little or tiny stars individually.
