My original beaded neckties are the innovation and vision of combining Traditional Native American beadwork with a European gentleman attire. My technique combines two art forms, Native beadwork & silversmithing. The first technique is beadwork, which I construct on a traditional loom. Both the tie length& knot are adorned with two strips of beaded loom work, beaded in 11cut beads. They are then sewn onto a strip Teton or Vintage American broadcloth and backed with satin. I then use silversmithing techniques to create the tie pins & tie clips. The tie pins & clips are either done with sterling silver or brass, with the tie pins containing an inlay of turquoise or coral red stones.
