Joan Aragon

I create mostly traditional Pueblo clothing which includes Ladies' dresses, Men's shirts and children's clothing. I most often sew the clothing using cotton polyester fabric blends as well as the thread. I use a sewing machine and my patterns are from my own creations. My dresses are collared and have pleats along the edge of the sleeves. Laces and trims such as satin ribbon and grosgrain are added to the sleeves and bottom of the dresses edge. I may also use contrasting solid and printed fabric together. My ribbon shirts are usually solid in color with added color ribbons and/or trims with collars, cuffs and buttons. I may also add a contrasting printed fabric piece and finish the edges with ribbon. All my creations are one of a kind unless specially ordered with the customer's input for example specific colors and sized to fit.
