I specialize in traditional Seminole patchwork. My work can be distinguished by the prioritization of remnants which is reflected in the colors of the various patterns seen throughout my work. Remnants are significant to my art making process as the technique has been used traditionally in order to not forget the history of the Seminole people and to continue to carry it with us through our clothing. The combination of the traditional patterns chosen for each piece showcase the storytelling ability that is innate to Seminole patchwork.
