My painting materials are brushes made from both natural and synthetic bristles which serve different purposes. My paints are acrylics, oils, and gouaches with pigments sourced from my living area and on supply trips to the Mediterranean regions. In regards to techniques, I use the standard practices of the Western studio. Varying degrees of brush work is the sole driver of my paintings. From basic appliques to more intricate brush/medium work, my paintings materials and techniques are derived from both my culture and western academic standards.
