My weaving reflects the people who taught me this great art. My mother and paternal grandmother will always reflect and live through each of my creations. My work fluctuates through rigorous repetition of geometric motifs and free form non-symmetries. As a Navajo weaver I carry forward and preserve a valuable part of my cultural heritage. I weave on a Navajo upright tension loom. My textiles are woven with wool/mohair weft and wool warp. The dyes I utilize are a combination of natural and synthetic compounds.
