Pottery is sculpted with raw clay, strained, and formed with gourds. It is then sanded and polished with River bed rocks. The paintbrush used is made with the ends of yucca stems. Pigments used are black paint from Magnetite rock, wild mustard plant, wild spinach, and yellow clay. Pottery is finished fired outdoors with sheep dung.
