I hand carve all the katsina dolls by hand using hand tools like a knife, and various sizes rasps copping saw, and hand saw. All hand sanded and hand painted with natural earth pigments. i collect the feathers and other materials like fur, corn husks, leather,cotton string, commercial materials, and various feather from birds to use and hand tie to add to the dolls.
