Enoch Platero

My jewelry reflects the intersection of tradition and modern elegance, crafted primarily from .925 sterling silver, turquoise, coral, and shell cabochons. Each piece is entirely hand-fabricated using melted silver, hammered shapes, hand-rolled wire, and precise soldering techniques. I incorporate both natural and Zachery-treated stones, favoring Sonoran Gold, Royston, and Thunderbird turquoise, as well as pink, red, and purple heart-shaped shells. Inspired by Navajo tradition, my designs blend ancient elements, like row bracelets, with contemporary details, such as calibrated cabochons and innovative settings. Custom tools, like a bead-holding soldering plate, reflect my problem-solving approach and enhance precision. The result is jewelry that celebrates craftsmanship and storytelling through fine detail and symbolism.
