Hopi Kachina dolls carved from the root of cottonwood. I only use knives, files and wood burner tools. Painted with oil paints or natural pigments depending on the medium ie: traditional or contemporary. Traditional style dolls use feathers (game birds) horsehair and leather. Applied with natural adhesives.
