My artwork is stone and bronze sculptures and I work with marble, limestone, and granite, too. When I crave stone either contemporary or traditional forms of wildlife, bears, hawks, etc. Bronze sculpture is a lost-wax process and I'll build a clay model using aluminum armature wire and sculpture clay that is 110 degree melting point. Once the clay model is complete, I will deliver it to the foundry. To carve stones, safety precautions to protect my eye wear, full face mask, and ear plugs. When stone grinder will put a lot of dust into the workspace. To carve stone, I cut stone with 4"to 7" angle grinder diamond blades and air hammer, sanding wheels, wet-sanding block, and/or pads 60grid to 600grid. Then, wax polish is ready for display and base, too.
