I started making jewelry when I was 8 years old. My parents taught me in their jewelry studio in Santa Fe, NM. My mother's family is from Alaska and we spent every year traveling to Alaska when I was young.I work with sterling silver and gold and my primary work is in Lapidary using semi precious stones including Lapis, coral, turquoise and bone. My lapidary work requires slabbing the original stone or bone and custom inlay as well as carving the bone by handi work in traditional Alaskan Native and contemporary designs.
