I use a multi layer oil painting technique. The focus is both on how the layers interact for longevity and how the colors build up and affect the look of the finished piece. For subject matter I have been implementing traditional Potawatomi florals, with a contemporary spin, in combination with realistic subject mater (such as portraits or animal) to either tell a story, express and idea or memorialize a person of importance.
