The materials I use are created on stretched canvas, on clay, board and paper. My medium is mostly acrylics but I like to experiment with other materials. I use textures and create paintings that are three dimensional. The paintings I create are one of a kind and are related to my heritage which is Dine'. These paintings have meanings and stories. They are taken from creation stories, songs and prayers. They are my own interpretations. I like to use movements, textures, washes, thick and thin paints. The colors I use are vibrant which catches the eye. I like to use darks and light to bring out the focal points.the colors I use are part of the Beauty Way ceremonies, they have meaning. The bright colors represents the East and that's where every good blessings come. I create these pieces in all different sizes.
