I am a self taught artist; working in acrylic, pencil, charcoal, and oil. The bulk of my work is in acrylic on stretched canvas. I paint acrylic onto canvas with a paint bush and water. I work in layers with the far background first and work to what is nearest int he painting. For the central figures, I paint them with brush and water; I do not sketch, use projection, templates, or stencils, my work is spontaneous while layering paint. At times, I will use some metallic acrylic paint to create dynamic dimensions.
