I work with many different types of stone and materials from all over the world including Utah Honeycomb Calcite, Indiana Limestone, Italian ice Alabaster, and Mongolian Black Marble from China, just to name a few. I use a variety of tools including hand tools like files and chisels as well as power tools like diamond saws and angle grinders. I do not make any preliminary drawings of my work. I prefer to work with each stone individually and create my designs as I'm working.
