My artwork blends traditional Native/Navajo themes with both oil and digital mediums, drawing inspiration from Navajo iconography and pop culture to create pieces. For my digital pieces, the process begins with a simple sketch in the Procreate app. I challenge myself by working with just four layers to ensure the final image maintains the highest resolution. I also take advantage of digital tools like warping, pixelation, and layering, which allow me to craft a distinctive fusion of traditional and modern elements. Once completed, I print my digital pieces on rough fine art paper, adding texture and depth to the final product. Using museum-quality paper (17"x22") and archival-grade ink ensures the artwork remains vibrant and long-lasting. For my oil paintings, I take a more traditional approach. Each piece begins with a rough sketch on canvas, followed by carefully layered colors to create depth and dimension.
