Using a tufa stone, I carve my depth and opening into the stone by using carving tools. Once I finish the depth work I use my tools to carve my designs in to the stone. I use a crucible and propane to liquefy my silver. I use a tire strap to tie two Tufa stones together. I pour the silver into the mold. Once the piece cools down I use a coping saw to cut out the piece. I use a grinder to shape my piece. I use hard solder and acetylene to solder the piece together etc. When I use stones, I will be using a stone cutter to cut my stones. When I cut my stones, I use a buffing machine to polish my stones. I will use pliers to shape a bail or shepherds hook. I use a buffing machine to pre-buff; I use a buffing wheel and yellow compound to get out the imperfections on the piece. I use hot water and soap to clean the piece. I use paint brush to apply oxidize to my piece. I use leather wheel and steel wool on the buffing machine to high polish the piece.
