I start by using sterling silver sheets and wires of varying gauges. I then cut pieces out according to drawings I have designed. Next steps are to produce the bezel, backing, rope, stars, moon, crosses, steps and other shapes that would be used for overlay in my jewelry. Once all of the silver is set, I solder the pieces together and proceed to handstamp. Many of the stamps I used are vintage and were handed down to me from previous mentors. From time to time I like to incorporate 14k or 18k gold, copper, shells, and other gemstones into my pieces. After all of the stones and stamping are set, I then buffer, texture, and finish with a high polish. My jewelry is designated to be investment pieces that can be passed down through generations.
