My name is Bonnie Woodie, a designer from Steamboat, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation. I am the creative force behind Big Water Designs, drawing inspiration from both traditional and contemporary Native American culture. My motto, �Nishinigit ei Nishi���I Am Who I Am��is reflected in my unique clothing designs. My grandmother�s rug weaving taught me the value of quality, shaping my intricate applique and beadwork style. I see my designs as �works of art through clothing� and strive to bridge cultural awareness. I�ve exhibited in museums across the U.S. and was the first Native American designer to showcase in Milan, Italy, honoring my heritage through fashion.
