Materials and techniques used in my creative artwork is altering landscape by leading viewers to interpret what my digital photography means and why its important. Although, many times my photography were considered paintings because of the vivid colors, however, that is one example of my technique. I have a strong eye for color and the small details in the image itself. I’ve been working with this idea of color for years whenever I create new work or revisit old ones. I explore options of how I can create a different landscape to gain a different perspective. The work I engage with varies between colors, leading lines, angles, and change of seasons. I’m an avid believer that the body of work I create are a map of my existence of where I grew up, where I’ve traveled, and how I use colors to create fragments of landscape around us. Additionally, it is why my photographs are printed on canvas and are shot singularly. In post-production, they are turned into panoramas.
