Portfolio Example & Artist Statement

I started making jewelry in 2005 right after mt moms passing. I entered my work at the Poeh center and was accepted. My mentor was Frits Casuse. He was an amazing teacher and I give him all the credit for my teachings. I love making jewelry. I do wax casting, tufa casting, cuttle bone casting. I decided 3 yeas ago to purchase a storage building which is now my studio. When I was small my mom would bead and she made us a wooden loom and taught us how to make arm/wrist bands. Years passed and the beading stopped. In 2018 i decided to bead again during Covid. I watched alot of YouTube and enjoy beading and very thankful for my moms teaching. And I enjoy making beautiful pieces.
