I am an Acoma Pottery Artist. I learned to make pottery from my aunt who was the matriarch of my family. All my work is 100% traditional pottery, and I have been making pottery for about 30 years ago. I use the traditional shale chay mined at old Acoma. All my materials and hand coiled methods are traditional, and the methods have been used for centuries. My pottery has been in multiple shows, and I have received blue ribbon awards.
